Getting Ready for the New Year

Getting Ready for the New Year

Where focus goes, energy flows

As we close out 2015 and get ready to celebrate the new year, it is a good time to reflect on the last twelve months and to set our goals for the coming year (and beyond). What has gone well and what has not gone so well? What should we do more of next year and what should we not do? Finally, what specifically do we want to achieve in the coming year?

Before this year is over, will you have spent time to really think about these things? Will you have physically sat down with a pen and paper to do the reflecting and planning that you need to do? It is absolutely essential that we take stock of where we are and become clear on where we want to go. We must then plan accordingly. So many people wish for success but do nothing to achieve it. I always remember the words of Jim Rohn who put it so clearly:

“I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacations with better care than they plan their lives. Perhaps that is because escape is easier than change.”

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for reading this blog. I hope you find value in what you read here, because that is why I do it. I share my thoughts and learnings so that you can use what is relevant for you along your journey of becoming your best self. I look forward to continuing to help you improve your health and to support you in your personal growth through 2016.

Have a great new year and all the best for 2016. I wish you health, happiness and success….but remember that only you can make it happen :)

Happy New Year!
